Large but light weight .. time will determine.

I have been using my bag while riding on my motorcycle, carrying miscellaneous items needed while traveling. I generally wear the bag on my back as it is very lightweight. I would find it very useful if a support strap could be added to the shoulder straps to keep them tight and less likely to slip off my shoulders. Satisfied thus far!

About to buy my second Gecko, having just fielded another 'where did you get that pack?'

Have used this bag almost daily for six years, stretched its capacity time and time again and am finally seeing enough wear to justify buying a replacement Gecko. I must admit it lost some of its waterproofness when I did not fasten a water bottle tightly enough, but it can still hold its own against a light or medium rain. The wear I noticed was not where I expected it to be--i.e. where the straps attach to the body--but in those fabrics used to seal the side seams on the inside. Perhaps Gecko has addressed this material's durability, but I did push this bag to its 30L limits in weight and size. I have also lost count of how many times people have asked me about it, attracted by the waterproof label and and its obvious light weight. Bravo, Gecko!

Large backpack for travel. Nice quality material. Looks good and great workmanship. Comfortable straps. I haven’t yet used it out in the rain, it’s very light weight. This item should not be folded into a tiny square; I prefer, folding it only horizontally, if it needs to be packed in your luggage, which works great.It does look waterproof material and construction.I will review again when it rains.

Nice bag.

It’s a nice bag. Decently made. And comfortable. Light weight. Decent dry bag for rain etc. I wouldn’t push it past that.
